At Cooker&Mixer, we understand the importance of keeping your mixer jar clean for optimal performance and healthy food. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to clean your mixer jar.
Before starting the cleaning procedure, take some photos in your mobile phone. This will help you to reassemble the mixer jar once the cleaning is done
Safety first
Before cleaning, ensure that the mixer is unplugged from the power source to prevent any accidents.
Empty the jar
Remove any remaining ingredients or liquids from the mixer jar. Dispose of them properly and avoid pouring them down the sink to prevent clogging.
Pre-soak if needed
If there are stubborn food residues or stains in the mixer jar, you can pre-soak it to loosen the dirt. Fill the jar with warm water and add a few drops of dishwashing liquid. Let it soak for about 10-15 minutes to help break down the residue.
Wash the jar
Using a sponge or a soft brush, clean the inside and outside of the mixer jar. Apply a small amount of dishwashing liquid to the sponge or brush and scrub the surfaces gently. Pay extra attention to the bottom and corners of the jar, as residue tends to accumulate in these areas. Ensure that you reach all the nooks and crannies of the jar.
Clean the blades
If your mixer jar has removable blades, wash them separately with warm, soapy water. Be careful while handling sharp blades. Use the sponge or brush to clean the blades thoroughly, removing any food particles or residue. Rinse them under running water to ensure they are clean.
Rinse well
Once you have finished scrubbing the mixer jar and blades, rinse them thoroughly under running water. This will help remove any soap residue and ensure a clean final result. Make sure to rinse both the inside and outside of the jar, as well as the blades, until the water runs clear.
Dry completely
After rinsing, use a clean, dry cloth to wipe the mixer jar and blades. Ensure that all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing to prevent the growth of mold or mildew. You can also place the parts on a drying rack to air dry.
Reassemble the mixer jar
Once all the parts are dry, reassemble the mixer jar, including the blades and lids, following the photos taken initially. Store the mixer jar in a clean and dry place to keep it ready for future use.
Keep your mixer jar clean for fine and healthy cooking.
